My research group is interested in understanding how quantum devices operate under reasonable conditions, in the presence of environmental noise. We develop new theories for analyzing the quantum information encoded in devices and relating them to physical laws of non-equilibrium thermodynamics, applying them to design new noise-robust molecular and material platforms for quantum computing, sensing and simulation.
